Harry rapped on the glass. "Mirror, mirror, in the air, show the dragon in his lair."

Silver fog formed and cleared, and the mirror chuckled. "You're a brave one, aren't you?"

"Doesn't matter," Harry said. "Can you find him for me?"

The mirror darkened and Harry threw himself at it, knuckles scraping against the glass. "Please?"

Black faded to silver and the mirror showed the dungeons, Snape's lair. Severus was pale, and blood still seeped from his wounds.

Harry pressed his forehead against the mirror and kissed the glass. The stasis held – there would be enough time to save Severus.
