Everything was perfect. With ice sculptures and chocolate fountains and towers of marzipan, it was the ultimate fairytale wedding, the hero marrying the princess, and Molly was in raptures.
The Burrow was full to the attic, with family and friends. Charlie needed to escape from the crowd.
He slipped outside and into his tent. Neville was sitting on his bed, and Charlie stopped short.
"Hey."
He'd hoped for a fairytale wedding with Neville. He'd not seen Neville since their quarrel.
Neville had expanded Charlie's sleeping bag, making it big enough for two. He stood, offering his hand to Charlie. "Hey."

Pink – there was pink everywhere. Kittens ran through the grassy fields, and a gentle breeze pushed the hammock to and fro.
Lounging in the hammock, Umbridge gave Severus a sickly-sweet smile and held her hand out to him. "Another gin and tonic, Sevvy-pooh."
The glass was cold, but Severus held it in his hand as long as possible. When he bent to give it to her at last, she pulled him down into a long –
Severus woke in a cold sweat.
Kingsley reached for him, pulling him close. "It's all right," he said. "We all have nightmares about the war."

The dungeons at Malfoy Manor were always cold. Severus took long strides, walking faster to keep warm.
He had no choice but to obey Voldemort.
Potter was in the cell at the end of the corridor. Severus stopped, glaring at him through the bars. "Foolish boy," he hissed, "you've put us all in jeopardy."
He didn't wait to hear Potter's response. He didn't look into Lily's eyes.
Slipping Potter's wand from his sleeve, he let it clatter to the floor and nudged it through the bars with his foot. "Don't get caught again."
Severus left. He had kept his promise.

Percy bent over Harry's desk, leaning a little too close to him. The warmth from Harry's body was addictive.
Percy never felt this warm when he was near anyone else.
"I don't know," Harry said, blinking. "Why–"
"Look, it's simple." Percy took the quill from Harry's hand, using it to point at the relevant line. "Whether or not they've fulfilled the terms of the treaty, we're required to provide them with Wolfsbane at the full moon."
"But that's not fair. They ought to–"
Percy handed him back the quill, their fingers brushing. "Life's not always fair," he said.
