lesyeuxvertsIt's the holidays - there are a million and one things to do, and that's on top of the million and one things that there are to do every day. Family. Work. Life. Laundry. Buying presents, sending cards, shoveling snow. Dealing with the crappy weather in general. It's the season to be sick with one winter illness or another.
I've noticed so many posts on my flists in the past two days -- posts where people just need hugs and hugs and MORE hugs. Because this is a stressful, awful season; the economy is not making things any better, to put it mildly; and let's face it. We all need hugs. Lots and lots of hugs. :)
I may be a cheery, crazy, caffeinated silly goose, but I think that hugs make the world a better place - yes, I believe that one instant of connecting with another person, touching another person (even if only electronically) can help. So I want to hug each and every one of you ... and if you have a second to spare, in the crazybusy holiday season, please go out and hug someone else who needs it. :)
