Merry Christmas
Dec. 25th, 2006 11:28 pmJoyeux Noel a tous, mes cheris, except of course for those of you who don't celebrate it, and I wish to you who do not celebrate it, a very happy holiday of whatever sort you do celebrate it - except of course, it is probably not today, and so I am late, or early, depending on your frame of reference. But in fact, I hope that everyone has had a very lovely day, en depit de tout cela.
Probably you can tell that I am (finally) drunk, a little bit, and everything is finished here - the clean-up, the family arguments, tout. I am in fact posting in order to tell you that I will be away for a few days - gone to Iowa, in fact, and there will be very few martinis and even fewer internet connections there, mais c'est la vie.
And so I wish to say that I hope your hearts are full of joy and peace, tonight and for the rest of December, and in the new year. I feel very blessed to have known you, mes cheris, and a very happy holiday to all of you.
