Wheee!

Now that I have regained some small measure of coherency, I return to you with a rec: For Blood and Wine are Red (Albus/Gellert, NC-17. Summary: It's not that Albus doesn't know better.)

This was my gift from hp_springsmut, and it is amazingly, unbelievably, freaking perfect. It reads the way that canon would read if JKR was a better writer *cough*I didn't say that*cough*. The characterization, the setting, the plot and the writing - it's completely perfect all the way through.
