Geese and DH
So, I was walking to school this morning and saw a gaggle of geese crossing the road. Seriously - there were three adults and 10-12 young ones, and they just stepped out into the road as though the traffic didn't exist. They did use the crosswalk, though. *g*
Traffic completely stopped from them, it was the funniest thing to see this busy road completely stopped while everybody waited for the geese!
On a serious note ... I was thinking about DH this morning, and you know what? I'm really not sure I want to read it, and by that I mean that I don't want it to happen. Eeek. I don't want canon to be "over" and I don't want any of my favorite characters to die!
Heh. I did e-mail my ex, who is coming for a visit sometime this month, that if he came on the day the book was released ... well, I still love him but I would completely ignore him in favor of the book. :)
So, I reckon that I won't be able to resist reading it - to not know what would happen would be worse, actually - but I may need a shoulder or twelve to cry on when it's all over.
What are you guys feeling about it? Have I gone completely nuts, or am I not alone in this mixed dread/anticipation thing? What are all y'all's plans for reading it? Who's going to be around to comfort me when it's all over? *clings*
