Severus had yet to experience a Weasley Christmas in all its glory. The year that Arthur had spent in St. Mungo's didn't count – last year, when Severus had been in St. Mungo's himself, and surrounded by Weasleys and mince pies and false cheer, didn't count either.
There had been five years of dour Christmases, four years of watching Harry Floo away, three years of entreaties … it wouldn't happen again.
Severus leaned across the counter, almost hitting the salesclerk. "I need an iPod," he hissed. "Make it quick."
An iPod for Arthur, a potions kit for the twins, sweets for Ginny and books for Percy, a new clock for Molly – the list stretched on and on.
He couldn't buy Gryffindors with money, but when they saw what he was willing to do for Harry … Severus smirked, slipping the iPod into his pocket.
It would be a Christmas to remember.
