Waterfire!

The hp_boston fen are awesome: we went to Waterfire yesterday, and are planning a sushi brunch and a Fall-o-palooza (apple-picking, pumpkin patches, cider doughnuts, foliage and MORE!) in the future! If you are even remotely close to Boston, you should totally join us. :)




We started out with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, and shared a bunch of great appetizers before proceeding on to the most important part of any meal ... cheesecake!

They came along in boats to light the wood. My favorite boat was called Prometheus ... isn't that cute? :)

coffeejunkii posted a video that probably gives you a much better idea of it than my pictures do! But it was awesome ... we had so much fun! Eating cheesecake ... walking around the historical district of Providence ... talking about D Rad in Equus ... talking about the gender of Harry and Draco's children ... getting free samples of Dunkin Donuts coffee ... going shopping for shoes ... it was great!

AWW! Waterfire! Providence! WHEE! *has nostalgia*
I lived in Prov previous to the uncovering of the river and the invention of Waterfire, but I went to see it when I was back for a visit several years ago...it is CRAZY! I cannot believe that it happens in the middle of the city.
So much fun, I'm glad you guys made it down to see it!

Oh, that looks like fun! Every time I went to Providence (while I was still in the Boston area), someone said something about Waterfire, and I always wondered what it was like. Sounds like a great day! M.
