Although you are sure to ignore my wishes, I repeat again: I have no desire for continued correspondence with you.
I admit, however, that your inane questions do provide a passing diversion. No, I am not allowed visitors. Yes, I do in fact sell your letters to the guards here. They provide me with extra meals, if the slop served here deserves that term, and other liberties.
In response to your impertinent and idiotic question concerning my New Year's resolutions, my reply can be summed simply: none. I have had resolutions enough in my life.
