James Potter leaned on Severus, his weight in a one-armed hug with the appearance of affection, his fingernails clawing into Severus's shoulder.
"Snape, we were talking about our school days, and your place at Hogwarts."
Potter leaned closer, whispered hot in Severus's ear. "Lily's potion, you greasy bastard, you said you'd bring it."
"Can you think of nothing but your simpering wife and the sickly parasite cursed with your blood? Some of us are here for real work."
Severus ignored Albus's reproving looks. He shoved the vial at Potter and stalked away to stand in the shadows for the meeting.
