Voldemort's corpse crumbles when Potter trips over it. Carbon flakes off into the wind, showering the boy with soot.
Severus stalks closer, robes billowing in the wind. "Foolish, unprepared boy."
Potter gapes at Severus, his mouth as round as his eyes.
"Where is your magic now? Where is your vaunted power of love?"
The flare of fear bright in his eyes, Potter turns white.
"Where are your loyal defenders?" Severus catches hold of Potter's throat, feels the lovely pulse hammering.
Hot breath and blood beneath his fingertips, Potter is at his mercy. "Sectumsempra."
With a last puff, Voldemort's corpse disintegrates.
